1. TERMS & CONDITIONS – EV CHARGING SERVICES

Eligibility

Users must be:

• 18 years or older
• Legally capable to contract under Indian Contract Act, 1872

Service Scope

• EV charging access via registered stations
• Wallet-based payment
• Charging session tracking

Service is subject to station availability, grid supply, and technical conditions.

User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

• Safeguarding login credentials
• Accurate vehicle and other user details
• All activities under their account
• Careful and safe usage of the charging station

Pricing & Billing

• Tariffs displayed before charging starts
• Prices may vary by station, time, or grid conditions
• GST applied as per law

Limitation of Liability

Company is not liable for:

• Vehicle damage due to manufacturer faults
• Power grid failure and station unavailability
• Force majeure events

Liability limited to charging session amount only.

Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for:

• Miscreant or Fraudulent activity
• Policy violations
• Regulatory instructions

Governing Law

• Governed by laws of India
• Jurisdiction: Courts of Tamil Nadu

2. WALLET PAYMENT POLICY & TERMS

Wallet Usage

• Wallet is a prepaid value instrument for EV charging only
• Wallet funds cannot earn interest
• Minimum & maximum limits as per RBI guidelines

Wallet Top-Up

Top ups allowed via:

• UPI
• Debit/Credit Cards
• Net Banking

All payments processed via RBI-authorized gateways.

There will be no refund of amount paid into the wallet. It needs to be utilized for charging services.

Wallet Deduction

Amount deducted based on:

• Units consumed (kWh)
• Duration (if applicable)
• Deduction from wallet occurs after session completion

Payment failure clause

1. If payment fails but charging starts:

• Session will auto-stop when wallet balance is exhausted

2. If wallet is debited but charging failed:

• Amount will be credited to wallet within 7 working days

3. Company is not responsible for:

• Bank failures
• Gateway downtime
• Network latency

4. No refunds for:

• Partial charging
• User error (early unplugging)
• Expired wallet balance (if applicable)

5. Refund Method

• Refunds credited only to the original wallet balance
• No cash refund allowed

3. App-Specific Terms (Android & iOS)

1. Mobile Application Usage

The Niran mobile application is available on Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (Apple App Store). Your use of the app is subject to these Terms, as well as the respective platform policies of Google and Apple.

2. Platform Independence

Niran Technologies is not affiliated with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Any issues related to app distribution, updates, or downloads shall be governed by the respective app store’s terms.

3. In-App Payments

All in-app payments are processed through RBI-authorized payment gateways. Neither Apple nor Google is responsible for payment disputes, refunds, or charging failures.

4. Permissions

The app may request permissions such as location, Bluetooth, and notifications, strictly for EV charging functionality. Disabling permissions may limit app features.

5. App Updates

Users are required to keep the app updated. Continued use of an outdated version may result in service disruption.

4. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL POLICY (MANDATORY – IT ACT)

1. User Complaints

• Wallet balance issues
• Charging failures
• Refund delays
• Data privacy concerns

2. Resolution Process

• Complaint acknowledgment: Within 24–48 hours
• Investigation & resolution: Within 15 working days
• Escalation (if unresolved): Regulatory authority
